PRAISE FOR THE ORIGINAL TEXAS WEEDLESS WACKY WORM®
From www.basslurereviews.com:
Almost all of us have Wacky Rigged a worm and fished it with success. But the problem was a lot of snags and hang ups. Kicker Fish Bait Co. has solved that with the introduction of the Original Texas Weedless Wacky Worm®.
I took these worms on 6 trips and used them with great success. I fish a lot of wacky style rigs. this was an added bonus, now I can fish with the ease of a weedless design on this rig There are many ways you can fish this bait as per the site. I have fished it as a weightless wacky rig and weighted, as well as over the pads and weed lines - all produced fish.
Such a simple modification to a rubber bait that makes it a lot easier for us to fish it without the hassle of a load of "SALAD" on our lines.
This bait gets a 9 rating.
“I fish a 44 acre pay lake in Laguna Niguel, CA. I previously had nearly zero strikes for bass, even though the lake had real lunkers and a fairly decent population. That is to say, until I received a package of the Finesse in Watermelon Gold Glitter and Magnums in Pearl Pepper. I use a spin cast rig with a 6” UL rod. Using primarily a Texas rig, I would either work the lure along the bottom of the lake (I LOVE the weedless nature of these lures!!) or occasionally, “jig” the lure about 18” off the lake bottom … I had some really great hits with the Watermelon Finesse and caught two beauties, one at 4+ lbs with a mouth like a Mason jar! … So far, I am very impressed with the product and plan to place an order for a couple more colors soon.
Thanks for helping make my bass fishing more enjoyable!”

“The better fish this week came on a new bait that I have been working with for a month or so. Most of the guys on my past two months trips saw this bait or got to try it. The New bait is made by Kicker Fish in Texas -(http://www.kickerfishbait.com).
I have been using the 6 ¼” Finesse wacky in the pearl and watermelon colors. I have been fishing it on a Carolina rig and yes, even on a jighead. See the website for rigging instructions … (these baits) are fantastic and the spots love the crazy action. I have a few trips over the past month or so where we caught 15 or so on the pearl one.”

“ … Kicker Fish [Original Texas Weedless] wacky worm® thrown around the grass and wood cover. We fished the wacky worm on a 2/0 Owner wide gap hook weightless. The bait has some incredible action. With the small hook cover, it comes through the muck pretty good. I have been very impressed with this bait. We were using the green pumpkin 6 ¼” version.”

Chris Marler from LaPorte, Texas says, “ … a couple of hours with the Finesse wacky [style] and a Rockport Rattler jig was all it took to get over the hump. They didn't nibble, or grab and wait, they knocked the hell out of it!”
“I saw your ad in Southern Sportsman magazine and my eyes lit up, because many of our lakes are very weedy. I fish with my son and in the first 3 events we have finished 3rd, 2nd and 1st, with 90% of our fish caught on your bait. I am placing my third order and I'm sure there will be many more.” Tom
“ … Most of us threw your Wacky [style] Worm … we caught MANY bass … there is no doubt in our minds that it WILL catch BIG BASS … and we will continue to throw it!! We are sold on it!” Alan Witten, Ft. Worth, Texas |
